The much-awaited cultural fest Anantarang at Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi, came alive this year with a spectacular display of talent, creativity, and youthful energy. Held annually, the fest is a major event on the college calendar, offering students a platform to showcase their artistic abilities while fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration. The event was held on 21st December, 2024 with an inauguration ceremony and lighting of the lamp by faculty members.


The Sports Carnival, an exciting three-day event that included badminton, volleyball, cricket, chess, carrom and pitto, began the celebrations on December 17.
Teams from different institutions participated, which gave them a competitive advantage, and the lively environment demonstrated the true meaning of sportsmanship. With a speech competition on the subject of “Basic Structure Doctrine” on December 20th, the intellectual passion took centre stage. It was an engaging and thought-provoking occasion as students from CNLC and other universities showcased their eloquence and analytical abilities.
An open mic stand-up comedy, heartfelt singing, and upbeat dance performances brought the stage to life. Activities, game areas, and competitive events kept the audience engaged throughout the day. One of the highlights of the cultural fest was a variety of food stalls, a tattoo parlour, a face-painting area , and a vibrant DJ set with a live band performance all contributed to the joyous atmosphere.

The event provides a platform for students to showcase their artistic abilities and engage in various cultural activities, fostering a sense of unity, teamwork, and diversity within the college community. Overall, Anantarang is more than just a cultural event at Chotanagpur Law College; it’s a celebration of unity, diversity, and creativity, allowing students to break out of their academic routines and engage with one another in a festive, joyful environment.
